food diary: 6 - 12 oct

There was this immense craving for some teochew porridge, the kind you have for supper with a few small dishes after clubbing at Geylang or Havelock Road. There was also a craving for roti prata and curry. Hence what you see below in the homecooked meals. That I even went to the extent of preparing chicken curry at home explains the intensity of the craving. Many have asked what's behind all these sudden craves I develop all the time. I guess I just miss SG food. Also, as you have probably observed over the weeks, this double boiling of herbal and nutritious soups has become quite a regular thing. I think the 润肺 (good for lungs) soup helps - I've stopped coughing now. Yay!
