food diary: 14 - 20 apr

I started the week with homecooked breakfast and dinner courtesy of Bob and Judi of Rusty Springs for two days in a row. They also shared with us their collection of home brewed beer, champagne and wine amid dinnertime stories of chinese gold miners in the Victorian history and of Ned Kelly the bush ranger by the fireplace. They made me feel more than a hotel guest. I felt right at home. That was a great plus point for me considering I was slightly depressed at not having anything to do at all after sunset being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

As can be seen from the diary, the dumping has deteriorated, which again, I attribute to the change in diet (not by choice) and unfamiliar surroundings. It will most probably remain this way for the next two weeks to come as I commute between Mangalore and Sydney each week.
