a sad beautiful real life story i heard this morning

Boy was young. He got married. It didn't quite work out the way he wanted. So he split.

Girl was immature. She got married. It wasn't a happily ever after marriage and so she took off.

Years later, Boy and Girl met each other for the first time at the Reservoir. They fell in love. Girl bought a house just opposite of Boy's home. They met frequently. Girl eventually moved in with Boy and left her own house empty. They never got married.

Boy and Girl grew old. Still very much in love. Still, they didn't see any need to get married. Boy got cancer and struggled for a few short months before he left. Girl went mad from the loss and never recovered. Girl is now residing at a nursing home by the water, slowly waiting for the day she can see Boy again.
