I took a walk from Chulia Street (near Boat Quay) to Amoy Street one night and saw this magnificently-lit chinese temple along Telok Ayer Street lined with trees decorated with colourful lights. Took a couple of shots on my camera's night mode and am pretty pleased with how clear a few of them turned out (below), thanks to the random objects I found nearby that served as my makeshift camera support stands.

yes yes u r right, it's the thian hock keng temple. as for the food, i'm already eating at 150% of my capacity.
